Penn in Second Life
At Penn's central IT organization, ISC, we have been exploring the possible uses of Virtual Worlds like Second Life, and their potential role in the University mission, whether for education, research, or support for admissions and development goals. During 2009, a small team built a prototype virtual Penn campus. Since that time, several academic projects have used the campus, and the campus has continued to grow and expand. Visitors are invited to experience it for themselves.
